Dear Society,
We take one step forward and then we get pushed back five. This feeling couldn’t be more accurate after reading about Georgia’s new voting law. At first, I was confused and frustrated. But then I truly saw this law for what it is.
We are moving in the right direction. If we weren’t, those power craving individuals wouldn’t be taking actions as such.
I am quickly reminded that this desperate and pitiful law is just reassurance that we are stepping forward one step at a time.
As these panicked and soon to be obsolete individuals search and scurry for any possible way to hold on to their slippery power, let’s keep in mind the fight we gave, the fight we are giving now, and the fight we will continue.
