Dear Society,
I have been contemplating on if I should or should not share my thoughts on the incident at The Capitol. My thoughts are very similar to the thoughts of my community.
“What if that was us?”
As I watched history take place, I was lost for words by the fact that I was surprised and not surprised at the same time. The terrorists on the day of the attack on The Capitol did more than their simple minds could have ever imagined. They helped us portray to the majority the systemic inequality and unfairness in our country. And we didn’t even have to lift a finger.
Now more than ever, the majority is becoming more and more aware of my community’s unfortunate position within society.
